Terrence Littlefield, Principal/CEO

Terrence Littlefield, M.Ed., the Principal and Chief Operating Officer, has over 31 years of dedication to​ Education.  His vision has been a passport to create a tapestry of learning models  along with advocating for many deserving students across the United  States.  

Marva G. Ballard, CAO

Marva G. Ballard, M.S., Chief Academic Officer, is an artist, designer, entrepreneur and educator with over 40 years in service. She served as both an instructor and Program Coordinator with Tuskegee University's Fashion Merchandising Program. Following her time at Tuskegee University, she served as an instructor at Southern Community College in Tuskegee and for the University of Phoenix , both online and at their Memphis, TN campus. 


In 2003, she founded Women of Style, Spirit and Success, a non-profit aimed at helping women use technology in their entrepreneurial pursuits. The focus was on helping single mothers start small businesses to gain financial self-sufficiency. In 2009 she founded The Stitch Institute which operated programs train aspiring designers. She also developed Fashioning Their Future program as a program of The Stitch Institute. The program geared towards middle school children used fashion related lessons and projects to help students gain hands-on experience in S.T.E.A.M.

  

As the Chief Academic Officer for the BaSiC Prep Leadership Academy, she helps identify and connect with Educational Partners capable of providing meaningful extended learning opportunities for students. She also ensures classes and activities offered through our partners help meet learning objectives as outlined in the Common Core Standards.
